WE NEED YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JOIN IN THIS HISTORICAL EVENT AS A VOLUNTEER!

It's time again for the Harlem Book Fair. The fair will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2006 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on 135th Street between Fifth Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., Boulevard. Last year, CSPAN's BookTV, The New York Times, the Daily News, Time Out New York, the New York publishing community, and thousands of avid readers joined us in a historic celebration of books and American culture.

This high profile venue becomes part of the revitalization of Harlem as an American cultural and literary Mecca. The highlight of the Harlem Book Fair will be panel discussions, performances by spoken word artists, author readings and signings, musicians, storytellers, fiction and non-fiction writers, and children's book authors, and a walking tour of literary Harlem.

The event is free and open to all! Men, women and children of all ages who participate will enjoy memorable experiences.

We look forward to your participation and support. Join us at the Fair!
